Why connect Shopify with Odoo?
Shopify is great at running an online storefront, but stock, purchasing, accounting and delivery usually live somewhere else. Without an integration, someone ends up copying orders into the ERP, updating stock by hand and reconciling payouts in a spreadsheet. A Shopify Odoo integration removes that double entry: Odoo becomes the single source of truth and Shopify always shows the right products, prices and stock.
What the Odoo Shopify Connector syncs
- Products, variants and collections, in both directions
- Stock levels from your Odoo warehouses to Shopify
- Orders with customer, lines, taxes, discounts and shipping
- Customers and addresses
- Fulfilments and tracking numbers back to Shopify
- Payouts, so accounting matches what Shopify actually paid you
How to set it up
- Install the Odoo Shopify Connector on your Odoo 19 or 18 database (our team installs it for free after purchase).
- Create a custom app in your Shopify admin and copy its Admin API access token.
- In Odoo, add a Shopify instance with your store URL and the token, then test the connection.
- Choose the warehouse, pricelist and payment journals the connector should use.
- Import your existing products once, map any SKUs that differ, then switch on scheduled order and stock sync.
Tips for a clean rollout
Clean up duplicate SKUs before the first import, decide which system owns product data (usually Odoo), and run a few test orders end to end before going live. Start with stock and orders; add payouts and fulfilment sync once the basics are stable.
